TC-20 Hugger Belt Transfer Conveyor

The Ketan TC-20 Hugger Belt Transfer Conveyor is a direct result of our R&D process created in order to offer “more for less”. The TC-20 bottomless conveyor with its stainless steel construction and robust design offers a very versatile and reliable method for transferring and bottom coding of bottles or other products at a very competitive price.

The TC-20 bottomless conveyor is generally used for two primary functions:

1 - As a bottomless conveyor integrated with an industrial inkjet coder for bottom coding of bottles or other products.
- Bottles are gripped on the side by belts that are driven at the same speed of the infeed conveyor and conveyed over an inkjet coder print head in order to apply lot codes, date codes, or other text to the bottom surface of the container using a non-contact printing method (CIJ printer technology).

2- As a bottle or product transfer conveyor.
- The TC-20 transfer conveyor is placed in between two conveyors. Bottles or products are gripped on the side by belts that are driven at the same speed as the infeed and exit conveyor in order to smoothly transfer the product from one conveyor to another. This eliminates dead plates which are normally placed at the exit or infeed of other machinery in order to transfer products. Dead plates can cause bottles or other product containers to tip over thus creating an obstruction and possible stoppage in the production line. The TC-20 bottomless transfer conveyor allows for a smooth transfer thus eliminating bottle jam issues and ensuring more productivity.

TC-20 Hugger Belt Conveyor: Stainless construction, variable speed with open design below belts for easy print head placement while bottom coding various types and sizes of products.

Optional Infeed Plate: A feed plate can be added to the infeed of the hugger belt to allow for manual feeding by operator.

Optional X/Y Arm: Print head mounting arm - easy and quick to set up for various size products with turn handle adjustments.

Smooth Transfer of Products: No more products falling over due to metal transfer plates while moving from one conveyor to another.

For Easy and Precise Bottom Coding: Products are precisely handled and controlled as they are transferred from one conveyor to the next in order to allow for accurate bottom coding of bottles or other products. The bottomless conveyor design allows for an inkjet coder to be mounted underneath.
